Pretty much drives itself
Your not wrong, not only do they have adaptive cruise, that in traffic, will bring it to a stop then move off with no input from us but it'll adjust it's speed to the speed limit and automatically slow and change gears for tight bends and even roundabouts. All we have to do is point it the general direction. Aparently Merc's are bringing out an update that'll stop it for red (traffic) lights and read traffic at roundabouts and pedestrians at crossings
That's all well and good as long as you trust the systems, I however do not, it's kinda alarming when on final approach to a roundabout it decides it's not there after all and starts accelerating
And don't get me started on the stupid "mirrors"

Lee did an absolutely amazing job and only took 4 1/2 days! I did all the inside and windows, Lee all the structure.
There was a split in the bubble and at Spa last year the air got under it and made to so bad I had to tape it up. Yes, I'm so fast I can peel the paint off a car

Wow, Never seen Lee move so fast

I wish I picked trains, at least I wouldn't have to deal with moron road users, especially the death wish cyclists with massively overblown sence of entitlement, and bus driver who's sole reason for being is to play what am I going to do next with indicators that only work AFTER they've stopped, changed lane, cut you up etc oh and black cab drivers, the 'knowledge' is so vast (and unnecessary, hello, 2000's, sat navs!) and the average black cab driver's brains so small, it literally pushes out common sence and road craft, uber drivers who never had a brain, or understanding of the English language to start with, ALL van drivers are cu.nts, speed camers every 5 feet and where there not it's an average speed zone, 20mph speed limits through most of the center of London!!!, cycle lanes that cyclists don't use and idiot pedestrians who can't look up for 1 second before crossing the road....
And Prius'sss'

Every thread I post is an angry lorry driver thread
Good to see your extensive training is being fully utilised, hardly worth interupting your regular 8 hours bunk time

Hi Rob,As I don’t check the forum as regularly as I used to I have a few questions
Does Duncan still do any work on VX’s? I miss that Omega Mr Grier!
That is all....
Not on here much but do check in every so often
Omega was an epic drift car for what it was and so much fun had in that car lol.....forgot all about it until judt seeing this post
Made a conscious decision a few years back to focus on family, work and house renovation as juggling does not work and bottled giving up the corporate life
2 rather large full house renovations, 3 boys and relocation to Lincolnshire, last friends conversion done last year fully focused on my own stuff now when time allows
Alas no vx220's but bare shell rebuild of my old Renault 5 turbo in progress I sold 12 years ago along with the converted rwd rs3/dsg renault 5 DG special. Other than that sold most things but still have ikle race car with sr20det tucked away

Family is more important than any automotive items. Have you seen the 5’s for sale in the Silverstone Auctions? The 300k estimate is a bit too ripe!
Where in Lincs are you?

Hi Rob. I don't come on here very often at all. I don't know what happened to this place, it went very quiet / boring. I think a lot of folk post on Techie's favourite place - Facebook.I still have the Switch VX. It's been SORN'd all year. I think I will tax it for 6 months next year.
Have you still got your smorgasbord of Havianas?

Hello Goose / Rob.
All well here, as well as can be under the circumstances. And you guys? Are you still in Devon Goose?
