Just wondering what size of battery the VX220 Turbo uses in terms of CCA and Amps from the factory. What CCA does the car need realistically to turn over: just wondered how small the battery can go in terms of cranking power?

Thought I might share. If you want a battery that is easy to fit then try one of these. Yuasa YBX5202 battery. High CCA 440 and 45Amps. Best bit though it lowers straight in without having to perform some sort of contortionist magic trick, smaller dimensions from the standard so loads of room to manoeuvre into place. It does sit about 5mm higher than the standard battery so you might have to slightly enlarge the holding brackets holes.

Also might be worth checking out you boot entry battery if you have not used it some time. Mine had exploded and was sitting in a pool of white battery acid powder, good job this car is fibreglass.

Does anyone know if the alternator charges the entry batter through some for of slit charge relay?

Its....it's beautiful.

So small, so light......

What type is it? NiMh? Lithium?
I can't read the label, so i'd be grateful for a name or any other details.
