Hi all, 

 

Just re-joined Vx220 ownership after selling my NA a couple of years ago. 

Now the proud owner of a (slightly damaged) tubby. 

 

Looking for...

 

- Drivers door, glass and all associated seals, window regulator etc. 

- Drivers sill

- Drivers side door hinge

 

Sure there will be a bunch more parts needed as I go through stripping and re-building, but that'll keep me busy for the timebeing. 

 

Glad to be back in a VX220 and hopefully will have it back on the road in time for spring.

I got it off eBay, but may have been advertised on Facebook as well. 
 

It has damage to drivers side from hitting a sign post, and some slight damage to rear clam. 
 

Just in the process of stripping it all down to check exactly what parts are needed.

there is a brand new sill section for £400. Either Facebook marketplace or eBay. Forget which

You can find all details of it on the Facebook group. Seller only owned it a day before stuffing it. Apparently a nice car before that so I think you've got a bargain

Found it now, thank you. Thats the one! 

 

Its certainly a lovely car, will take some work / time to repair but is certainly do-able so should be back on the road again soon. 

 

Thanks for heads up on the sill, that will come in very useful.

Its being sent to a specialist to be repaired.

MVS do sills if you're not worried about OEM-ness.  Not sure if lotus hardtops do them too.

I have a spare door but will need to check which side it is.

Thanks for that. Have messaged MVS and seems they are a little back-logged due to lockdown but they are going to get back to me. 

Have found a N/A sill, but from some quick research I'm assuming its not a direct fit and will need one for the Tubby. 

 

Thanks for offer on door, have actually got one on the way already. (Have updated post with what I now need as I've managed to find a few bits today).

Updated parts list as I've managed to find a few bits. 

But still looking for: 

 

- Turbo drivers sill. (Have a couple of options in progress, but not yet found one)

- Drivers window regulator

- Drivers door card (Just the black surround bit)

- Drivers side brake line (Centre section).
