im sure some have seen my new mounts on facebook but i thought i would throw them on here for the anti-big brother lot :)

these are the original ones i had made years ago! just to get me some more height.

ugly as sin and didn't allow me to lower the rake of the wing enough and the adjustability of the mount it quite rudimentary

so i set about trying to design something nice, all be it rather pointless in terms of how much adjustability it has i waned to make isas nice as i could..

i wanted to use nice hardware to make the over all finish a nice one. i used a bearing on the counterlever to make it as smooth as possible.

Obnoxiously complicated but very pleasing to look at.  Top job!

Very nice indeed.

But please explain as I am not an racing engineer at all.

Those lovely CF-tubes are they covering a threaded steel or aluminium rod?

When you adjust them do you have to turn both the front and the rear mount at the same time?

Its a stainless rod i tapped with left and right thread and then slipped the carbon tube over and epoxy’d to keep it secure.

You can adjust the inner or outer independently of each other. :)
