The speedo on my NA has died (intermittently flickers). I've been told that it's probably the ABS ECU and it's a fairy common problem. To correct the issue, does the unit need replacing or can it generally be repaired? If repairable, can anyone recommend a business/individual. If it needs replacing, is the only option souring a 2nd hand part?

Cheers, Steve

Check the wiring loom and plug at the n/s/r wheel, it’s a common problem and usually a broken abs wire on the rear hub. Worth checking that first

You can repair if handy with a Dremel and soldering iron. But it means cutting open a sealed ECU fixing and then attempting to seal the unit back up.
