Well, after 3 weeks of trying to register on here, i finally have. It kept coming up with an incorrect security code.

However, im here now so will bore you with my car history. I dont have a VX220 yet but am looking for the right one.

Ive had a few unique cars and think the VX220 is in the same category

Ive had a road legal single seater with a Yamaha R1 engine, A GSXR1100 engined track only sports 2000 (ex elden race car). RS Megane and bug eye WRX but now have an SSC stylus kit car that ill be selling to get a VX

I was looking at the stylus on locost builders, nice car.

Ive owned/ built several kit cars over the last 20yrs starting with a shitty Robin Hood then progressed to a MK indys and at one point i was building a Phoenix which i had to sell half way through build due to lack of storage space...

Then i bought a more "normal" car... VX220!

All i can say is buy the best VX you can afford...

Except you can't get at anything on a VX.

haha yeah ive heard the VX loves a bit of tinkering. That's part of the fun right?....as long as you're not 20 miles from home and its raining and dark lol.

I'm in 2 minds whether to by a standard one and do any mods myself or get one that's been done already.

Easier and cheaper for someone else to do it ... as long as you trust them.

Nice cars

Join the Facebook group that seems to be much busier these days

It’s cheaper to buy one modded than tune a std one, wouldn’t buy a Na as that will feel slow based on your previous cars

Go turbo or supercharged.
Turbos respond to mod well
