Hi all,

I'm going to replace my battery. I want a Yuasa but have seen two type numbers mentioned. Mine's a 2003 NA 2.2

a) YBX5063

B) YBX5202

Could anyone with a 2.2 NA and a Yuasu battery please let me know the correct type number? (maybe they're both OK)

Thanks a lot.

Sorry about the smiley, it's a bug in the system - if you put the letter 'b' followed by a bracket  you'll get a smiley instead. Its should have read:

a ) YBX5063

b ) YBX5202

I'm guessing YBX5063 as the VX battery type is 063.

Thanks - Good point, I'll check to see if there's a '202' battery size as well then.

The 5063 is 52AH, 520A and 207Wx175Dx175H.  The 5202 is 45AH, 440A and 190Wx175Dx175H.  The difference is in the width, I fitted a Fulmen F3 which is the larger size, as was the battery that came out.  That said it was an awful job, I had to use a half ton winch to get the old one out because with that taking the strain I had both hands free to push and pull on all the pipes and stuff that get in the way.  It took days of wangling and weedling to get the new one in as everything stopped for Christmas.  I suggest you check the measurements of the existing battery and then decide on which size to go for, please check my measurements too.  I had to turn my new battery on end to get it in by the way.  Good Luck!
