Has anyone heard of such a thing? A car my mate was looking at is a VXT with 28k on the clock but the seller says it wont start as there is a bypass added. He has the original bit that was removed to allow the bypass but hasnt tried to fit it. The car was running last year as he did a wet trackday at Snetterton

Any thoughts?

Is there anything stopping you from refitting the immobiliser if you have the parts? (i'm assuming thats what you mean by original bit).

I don't know the turbo ECU at all so can't offer magic code, only the z22se, but you might have more luck asking Astra VXR/similar folk with the turbo engine.

Are you able to put an OpCom (or Tech2) on it - you may be able to disable the immobiliser function from there so it stops being an issue.

Otherwise it's patience and a wiring diagram time.
