I've had this for several years bagged up in storage as a spare, but never used it!

- The fabric and stitching is in excellent condition with no rips or tears whatsoever.
- Mechanisms and catches are like new, as do the cables & metal adjusters.
- Includes 2 roof bars in mint/as new condition
- Also includes the OEM roof bag!

You'll be hard pushed to find one in as good condition. Everything works as it should.

£450

That will sell fast, I would have snapped that from you if I still had mine.

What's the going rate for a decent one then? I've just seen someone had an Exige one up for 750 (wow!). Maybe I've underpriced it. Open to offers

Thx for the interest. Colour is standard black. Had a couple of really quick offers and was clearly out of the loop as to the true value as new ones are £1350!

Have listed on eBay so I could include photos, link

Be careful when comparing prices with the better quality, lined and insulated soft top for the Elise.

Not sure if Deroure prices include vat or not

Hang on. So listed at £450? Then looked Elise/Exige ones, which are lined and insulated, suddenly this one is now at £750?

I wouldn’t pay him anything for it now, as I wouldn’t want to deal with him.

How hard is it to do some research (search on here!) set a price you would be happy with and then sell it.

Can his name be downgraded to least D-game

Looks like it sold for £750. Who's laughing now? Woe betide anyone on here for trying to make a few quid, it seems!

I don’t think anyone was laughing, but to offer it at 1 price then bump it up to almost double a few hours afterwards after doing some poor research which could have been done before the original posting leaves the guy lacking credibility.

let’s hope it wasn’t someone after an Elise one that’s bought it since they are going to be disappointed when they receive it!

I don't think anyone would bat an eyelid at someone making a few quid. I just get a bid fed up of the "chav like" cheeky chancer boy approach. But then, I'm just an old fart so who cares what I think...

Pretty sure he just ended listing then relisted at £2k.
Could be wrong but I’m gonna go check again

Yep relisted

If I was buying I would be prepared to pay £5-600 for a "truly" mint example as it's less than half the price of a new one. I was very tempted and may have given in eventually if I still had the car but I could never quite bring myself to buy a new one, I remember it being over £1300 last year with VAT. They seem a bit cheaper now at over £1200 but that could just be me remembering the incorrect price last year.

:yeahthat:

Looks a bit faded and there's a plastic cap missing from one of the catches. Not what I'd call "mint".

I paid £150 for a mint spare black one about 5 years ago.
