Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, I have an Opel Speedster 2.2 and I write from Italy.

The Bridgestone 175/55 R17 front tires are no longer found but I have the option to mount the 205/45 R17 (nothing else).

Of course it is not possible to use the original 5.5jx17 et26 wheel because it is too small. So I have to change the wheel and I was thinking of a 7jx17 (I have read many topics on this forum and I think it is the best choice).

My question is: which ET to prevent the tire rubbing and avoid the use of spacers not allowed here in Italy?

I have ats dtc 17x7,5 et20 with spacer 20mm (et0) AnD tires yoko a052 215/40r17. So 17x7 et10 with 205/45R17 should be Save.

OEM rear rims will rub a little on full lock. I have a 3 mm spacer and then it is OK. Gives you an OEM look.

I also have the german ATS DTC that does not rub att all with 205 tires.

thanks everyone for the info!

I think 17x7.5 ET20 or 17x7 ET25 is the best choice, I hope they will fit without rubbing

At the rear I can't change the wheel size, so I'll take 17x8
