....for my 2003 VXT.  Ideally I want to get this at Halfords (nice and convenient for me).

 

When entering my reg into the Halfords search it recommends a Yuasa HSB063 but I have looked at some threads on here and the Yuasa HSB202 is suggested as a good alternative and has the bonus of being a bit smaller than the 063 so easier (as opposed to easy) to fit.

 

Just want to make sure that it is a good alternative and that it does fit well.  I remember the last time I fitted a battery the lower lip didn't fit the clamp very well.

Can't help on the smaller battery but I fitted the Yuasa HSB063 recently and can confirm it was a bit difficult getting it to fit and took 10 mins wrestling with call the cables in that area.

10 mins?   I seem to remember it took way longer than that last time

 

Just found the receipt for the last battery I bought (4 year warranty and bought 4 years 2 months ago) and I took back the Halfords HSB063 as I couldn't get it to fit the lower clamp (at least i think that was the issue). Swapped it for an HCB063 and that seemed to fit better albeit just as tight to get in.
