Hi people,

finally found some time to start working on the VX again. Tiny T25 turbo on my 2.2 got knackered so time to get the B207 into place with a nice garrett GT2860RS turbo on it.

Been out of the game some time so hence the questions:

1. Clutch:

I've got the LUK C20LET clutch with the pot-type flywheel to match the b207 and F23 gearbox. Now I think the LUK C20LET will not be up to the job on full boost with this turbo.

Should see 300bhp/+300lbs @ 10-12 psi which is about the limit of the clutch I read, So dont even think of pushing 15 psi and some 1/4 miles...

Next stop is a 6-puck I guess, but not to many out there. Found this one for 440gbp but z20let: https://www.aemotors...for-z20let-f23/

I think z20let should fit as the c20let clutch is used as an upgrade for z20let owners.. Correct? Specwise it should match the powerfigures.

2. Injectors

I run the VXR 470cc injectors, but have the feeling they are not that spot on for the Z22se engine (spraypattern? Bit of stalling during take off etc. Just not 100% right...)

Now I heard good stories of the Bosch 630cc ones cause of there spraypattern. All well, but I cant find the ring/adapters that are needed to fit our fuelrail. Any links? Thankx

3. Gearbox

I've got a zafira 4.17 gearbox laying around.... big question now: Is this still considered an upgrade while running this setup? Can see it work with a N/A engine, but no personal experience with it

So comments welcome before I drop it in (or not...).

4. Fuelpump

Well.... same story... will be maxed I guess, so time for an upgrade.

Thank you guys!

Pompa dw200 cicha tania i wydajna. Dodatkowo bierze mało prądu więc nie trzeba mocno przerabiać instalacji elektrycznej.

With gear ratios, this is the small problem that turbo engines usually have a fairly low RPM section, because the power usually above 6000 is already going down. Of course, it all depends on the size of the turbine, but if the section will be on the 6800, the maximum speeds on individual gears will be quite low. I have 320hp and 4.17 at home and I have no problems with this combination.

As for the 630 injectors, it is an obligation. The smaller ones will run out soon. I have Siemens deca 630 but they have average opinions. Pump dw200 is quiet, cheap and efficient. In addition, it consumes little electricity, so you do not have to rework the electrical system.

Thank you for the reply.

What type of DW200 pump do you use?

And what clutch do you use?

Yes, I know the website but haven't found proper reviews from people who use these clutches. The Nova-forum folks seems to think of them as a hit-or-mis clutch as far as I could find...

I thought Helix 6-paddle clutches were the go-to solution for high torque VX220's.

CG are fine. Used plenty of their stuff and not had issues. Fitted a twin plate set up in a customers vx last year.

Bosch EV14 will work perfect. Adapters => https://www.finjecto...r_injectors-219

Will also depend on your driving/track behavior, but I would stick to standard NA ratio for a Turbo B207. (already shorter than the VXT box)

4. Fuelpump

I should have a good uprated pump/sender unit for you; need to check the box in my garage. ;-)
