Hi, it's been a long time coming but finally going to join the vx220 ownership club...
Pick up a 2007 registered 2.0 turbo on Monday.
Question for the group - have found out the front lens have been removed as we're loose, will it be ok to drive it back (3.5 hours) with potential rain, or am I asking for electrical troubles?

Welcome, not sure what's exposed with the lenses off, tape plastic over them maybe?

I'd be trying to duct tape the lenses on for the journey

Water will get in around the headlight and bulb etc with no lens in place.

I have some window tape for the camper, will take that with me and tape them on. Are there no screws with vx lens covers, are the just held on by the butyl?

Just the sticky rubber as far as I'm aware
