Hi,

I know I just started a topic "Harrop Power",

but my friend just bought a new B207 2.0 engine and he has got the M62 charger.

He has got a 2,5" exhaust system and the LSJ Throttle Body. Injectors are 630s, Tmap 2,5bar ,OBD Tuner.

How much power can we expect with a complete OEM B207 2.0 engine and how high can we rev it?

(I would say ~7500rpm)

Which pulley size / boost would you recommend?

With the OEM head, our bottleneck will be the intake side.

Does it make sense to just add fast cams or is porting necessary to get the air through at high rpm?

What power to expect with those mods?

There are not that many with the B207 2.0 and M62 combo.

MartinS (UK) did 300 bhp on a 76mm (3") pully with his.
Loemy from Germany did 278 with an 85mm (3.35") on his.

If we would get 280HP, he would be very happy!

But Ithink they both had ported had and fast cams on it?

Not 100% sure, but i would say fast cams is a must to get the max from it.
Strengthened valve springs for the high rpm also.
Loemy had a ported head, so i asume martin also with those numbers.

Did Hitec not do semi oem B207 builds, thus there should be more of these in Germany?

I've got a 2.0 B207 with a ported M62. Makes 300 bhp. 3" Tullet, stg. 2 cams, LSJ etc. Got a 2.9" pulley on it. Can't remember what injectors!

How much rpm and boost ?

Do you have an OBD or dyno power measurement ?

If you can do the work yourself I would 100% say port the head concentrating on the exhaust side. The inlet just needs port matching and casting cleaning up.
My 2.2 is making good power with a ported head and oversized valves with std cams and 3.45” pulley.
Cams can easily be added later if required.
