I’m getting my VX back after a load of work, still stuff to do.

It was recommended that I get new rear brake callipers for my NA.

Have they stopped making them, or are they Lotus/ another car type?

Also going to replace the lamba sensor, hand brake cable, front bonnet pull, rear discs,

As to the timing chain, on the NA these were originally for the life of the engine, is there wisdom to them now being replaced? Done 127k miles but mainly motorways

ta!

Even with mostly gentle use I'd say it's time to get the chains done. If they are original they have made a few revisions over the years that have improved the kit. I'd advise sticking with genuine GM / SAAB OEM stuff.

Same front and rear calipers as on all 4-cyl Elises, so you can usually get them from some vendors there or check for refurb/core exchange options.

Bye, Arno.
