Hi

I need your help

 

I´m helping a friend assembly his Vx220 turbo while my waits for her treatment in a month or so.

Right now I´m a struggeling with electrical wiring which is not my strong side.

and the difference between my modified car and this is quite big.

Also there have been some time since someone was working on this , so there are some memory gaps.

 

This car is equipt with a charge cooler so I´m trying to figure out how to wire the relay for the chargecooler 

and where some other wires are going, also trying to move the relays to the cabin.

 

So first, I guess this blue wire which is connected to a red/white wire is positive for a pump relay for chargecooler?

 

Brown wire in bottom of the pcture is ground?

What about the redwire? 12V +?  Or also ground?

 

Is this rear licensplats light?

 

whats this connector for?

Well, it's a long time since I did it but, you say:

I refer to the fact that:

 

The switching supply for the relay is taken from the fuelling circuit. The reason for this is that this circuit remains live for 45 seconds after the ignition has been switched off. I’m not 100% but I think this is to keep the fuel pump running so that if the engine is very hot it prevents vapourization in the system. It’s convenient because the CC pump/system continues to run/circulate for that length of time after engine switch off.

The relay supply is taken off the blue connection block that’s fixed on to and behind the coolant expansion tank bracket.

Thanks, I will follow the guide.

But like you see in the picture, this red/blue wire

seems to  dedicated destination from the factory whih doesnt seem to be the same

as it is now.

Should I put it back somwhere or?

If it's iniside the cabin behind the seats then that looks like the plug for the interior microwave sensor for the alarm.

 

Normally it's fitted on the rear wall between the seats right under the glass.

I found another looking exactly the same but other colors on the wires.

Anyone know what this cable does? The red one ring cable lugs. It´s close to the relays. Right now the Relays are in the cabin.

In aTurbo, is it 12v or ground?

2 and 6 look like they might be from the door window.

Yup..

 

2 = door glass seal on top of door, 5 looks like a broken-off piece from 2 as it should be the inner and outer with a moulded piece on the end keeping them together

6 = 'triangle rubber seal and glass upper guide on top of door over the mirror mount

 

1 + 7 + 8 seem to be the seal that runs from below the doors, up and under the roll-over bar cover and down back on the other side. AFAIK originally it was 1 piece, but likely cut when the clam was removed. 8 should fit under the roll-over bar cover.
