After selling my vx220 with hardtop I got an almost brand new softtop for sale.

This is the double isolated version which also fits elise s2 and s3.

It comes with all the necessary parts + bag with uprated zipper.

Asking price is 1000, - pounds excl shipment.

Will get pics asap.

I am under the impression that new will cost you around 16/1700 pounds if they even have it in stock.

I can find one on elise parts.com for 1800 euro's excluding shipment.

Insulated? Ive not heard of that but the one Jon is selling is lined. Not sure if that's the same thing? If you are on the VX220 facebook page you can see the listing on there. He has 2 for sale.

This guy is trying to sell something - why don't you refrain from sticking your beak in where it's not wanted and deliberately trying to undermine his sale?

Prices have risen sharply as the Exige S3 crowd are after them, £500 or a grand doesn't make much difference when you've just shelled out £80k on your pride and joy.

They buy the car with a hardtop, prepared for a softtop, the sun comes out so naturally they want something they can stash in the car. If their Exige came with a softtop they’d be happy, but it doesn’t so they have to scratch around.  Simple really.

The soft tops have been on back order, including for new cars (Elise and Exige) for about a year. Only makes the market tighter for 2nd hand ones.
