A full detailed car check and appraisal was carried out by Q Mech (Lotus & Caterham specialist) prior to me purchasing the car.
The engine management light is on due to O2 heater sensor circuit. Possible due to either faulty O2 sensor or due to sensor being moved out of gas flow (as an adapter has been fitted)
One engine mount has split and needs replacement
One rear bush (not sure which one) could do with replacing.
Reason for selling. I bought the car as a temporary track car, but It’s way too good for me to thrash as I do.
So, I’m now looking to complete my VX. Yes, I’m starting again soon! I now intend to carry on using my GT4 for the time being.
The car is based in Hook, Hampshire.
The car requires an MOT which is subject to the above items being carried out. As I was going to track the car, it wasn’t an issue for me.
I have given a fair and accurate assessment of the car. It’s a good, well looked after car. The front lower clam has fine stone chips, but it’s hard to see unless close up.
Rear turbo boot spoiler could do with a re-paint.
£14,000 no offers, sorry. I’m happy to store it if it doesn’t find a home as I need the space.
