[NDT]

I get an annoying clonk at the front when I go over bumps.

Halfway between a creak and a clunk depending on how fast you go over the bump.

Car has just had her MOT and I got the tester to have a good look at the ARB - he couldn't find anything loose.

 

 

The car has an EP ARB, fitted back in 2013 or 14 I think. First port of call sounds like ARB bush lube - unless anyone can suggest anything different?

Have you jacked it up and tried pushing and pulling the wheel to listen?
There are two ball joints, a track rod end ball joint, four wishbone bushes, the ARB links and the top and bottom shock mounts. So thats 10 possible points of failure.

If the MOT tester didn't find anything, assuming he used shaker plates, i'd maybe consider the shocks themselves.

The leftfield answer could be the passengers footrest - mine was squeaking over bumps because a fat footed friend had pressed it up against the side of the tub. It took weeks to find.
