Morning all, can anyone advise whether there is a likely cause of a fast idle (1500RPM) on a VXT? Car has ran perfect for 7 years of ownership, only on 15K miles and just successfully returned from the 2,500 mile Euro Trip however it has started to idle at 1500RPM. When it starts, on choke, it runs about 2K and then drops down as it should when it comes off choke but it sits at 1500RPM. Other than that, car is perfect, no other performance issues
I cleaned up the "doom of gloom" connector blocks (blue and black) under the coolant bottle though they were not corroded in any way
Anything else to try?
