Although I couldn't drive at Hethel as my car was locked in the dealers last Saturday, I still went along as it is fairly local. I was in the passenger seat of my mate's Caterham when the MR2 in front caught fire.

It went rather badly and is a sobering set of pictures...

Shocking and a reminder to us all that these razor sharp drivers cars can bite. Be careful out there folks. He's lucky to still be around I reckon. :o

Life support for a day, intensive care for a week, so yes, you could say that!!

Reckons the car saved him though, which is probably right

Bit of a polish and fibre glass filler and it was back on the road, good as new!!! :P :P
