I've just replaced my headlights with some uprated Xenon blue tint bulbs and they make a significant difference, especially on full beam. The tint on them is minimal, they appear as a very "cold" white light rather than murky yellow as standard. The are identical to the Osram or Phillips bulbs, just different branding. Two sets are needed for the VX, H1 and H7, replacement takes a 13mm spanner and about 30 mins of your time. The price I have been offered for a group buy is as follows: 100+ £6 per bulb 50+ £6.50 per bulb 25+ £8.00 per bulb 10+ £8.50 1+ £10.99 The postage on top of that.

I'm interested if you do a group buy thumbsup 2 sets - one replacement and one for spares, total 4 :)

As you can see, quite difficult to take photos of them. The very edge of the beams is a slight blue colour, so you get quite a nice occasional blue reflection from the rear of cars in front which I quite like :P They're obviously not as bright as full HID kits and dipped beam suffers slightly because of how low the car is, but it's certainly a nice improvement for not a lot of cash!

Any more? Have had them on my car for quite a while and am convinced they are well worth the money!

oblomov 4sets smiler 2 sets Tomcat 2 sets Willow 2 Sets you good good people. Sparky 2 sets I'm assuming 2 sets = 1 complete set to fit and 1 complete set of spares? Forgive me, it's my last day in the office for a while and I'm a little slow today... Also, how do you want paying for these? If you can let me know before tomorrow I can sort otherwise am not about for the next month. Tks

As Smiler said, you need 4 bulbs, i.e. two sets for the VX. I can take payment through cheque, BACS, Nochex, postal order, any method really.

We are now looking at £8.50 per set, so £17 + P&P for enough bulbs to change both main beam and dipped beam. iirc Halfords charge £36 for similar bulbs.

That's a good price. I've just paid £42 for two H7 and two H1 delivered FOC (Osram Siverstar) from Autobulbs direct
