Not as far as I know!Got mine too, cheers Paul

(are these DEFINITELY not going to melt my lenses?!)
I don't think they produce any more heat and have been running mine for quite some time, the packaging also says suitable for plastic headlight lenses. Be sure to ensure a good connection on the bulbs, a loose connection can melt the plastic clip and blow the bulb (when I got the car one plastic clip was already melted due to a poor connection)

Yeah noticed that on my nearside OEM dip beam bulb. Hopefully a good squeeze with the pliers will have ensured the new ones have a better fit....Be sure to ensure a good connection on the bulbs, a loose connection can melt the plastic clip and blow the bulb (when I got the car one plastic clip was already melted due to a poor connection)

Mid-may through changing mine and the o/s plastic clip is pretty melted- to the extent that I'm not sure I can remove the OEM bulb without breaking it!(when I got the car one plastic clip was already melted due to a poor connection)
Can you buy these clips on their own? I can't be a whole new unit surely?!

The plastic clip does nothing and can be broken off ( I have), it's the metal inside that is importantMid-may through changing mine and the o/s plastic clip is pretty melted- to the extent that I'm not sure I can remove the OEM bulb without breaking it!(when I got the car one plastic clip was already melted due to a poor connection)
