Just a thought for those of you, like me, who want free power. After removing the pre-cat (essential), its worth taking the airbox apart and removing the horn-shaped (!) restrictor. I believe its only there for EU drive-by noise regulations and removing it effectively increases the size of the intake. It doesn't seem to increase the intake sound by very much. I did it when replacing the standard flter element with a Green Cotton one (bit like a K&N panel) and I also extended the intake pipe and fitted a funnel-shaped cold air ram in the n/s side vent. The air restrictor simply clips in. Easiest way to get at the airbox is remove the rear n/s wheel and the plastic inner wheel arch (just a few screws). cuddles Griffo

Can I bring my car to Cornwall (if that is where you are?!) and rope in your assistance with all this free power stuff? Oh yes if this is applicable to a Turbo. Happy to pay you something (or buy you a pub lunch!)
