The aero pack I have been trying to develop since last April is finally coming togeather. The front airdam and detachable splitter were sorted a while back. I have now taken delivery of a carbon fibre rear wing. It goes in to be fitted next week. I have been playing around with plywood "stays" to see where I want it mounted on the car. I want it to work, but look good aswell! What do people think?

I can't get it to post any of the pictures. Maybe that's cos I know sh*t about computers, or maybe they are too big or something. Anyone got any ideas?

I think I might mount it an inch or so lower and a tad further forward. I will probably trim the end plates down a bit too which will make it look a little less bulky. The wing came with some useful data. On it's high setting in free stream air it generates 62kg of downforce at 100 mph. It's drag to downforce ratio is apparently very good too. The guy that sold it me calculated what size and profile ought in theory give the biggest improvement in lap times taking into account my cars CD, horsepower, top speed attained at most circuits etc. Only the stopwatch will tell if it really works. The nosey "neighbour" is the missus!

Can I ask how he calculated that, not been in a wind tunnel has it?

Just curious
