:( My VXT is going into the dealer tomorrow morning for them to try and fix what is becoming a very irritating problem. My neighbour has a Nissan Primastar van, which as I understand it is a Vauxhall Vivaro with a different body. When he locks/unlocks with his blipper - it sets my alarm off !!!! flippin annoying as our allocated spaces are next to each other and he leaves for work at 6am every day ! I'm thinking that our 'codes' are similar or on similar frequencies and my VXT thinks its being scanned or tampered with ???? fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I have had alarm problems at odd intervals since I got the car. I can now categorically state that it is because of dorbells. When I stayed at my parents' house (one of the places where the alarm goes off) over Christmas I happened to mention the doorbell theory, they were looking after their neighbour's house so my Dad went straight out and rang the bell. Then I had to hunt round the place for my keys!!! A couple more tests proved this beyond doubt. The alram also goes off when I am at my brother's house and he has confirmed with his neighbour that they have one of these stupid bells. Can anything be done?

:o I fear this may be alittle extreme..(in it's simplicity) to be recommended. (especially to a Dr!!)..Use your strengths!! ;) how about informing them of the danger they're putting you in..(..you with your pacemaker on the same frequency) :D

:D Found a temp measure - I persuaded the neighbour to lock his car using the key in the door - the alarm and central locking still function with this method but it removed the 'radio' part so my alarm stays silent. Vauxhall are 'investigating' but I'm fully prepared to go Medieval if I've heard nothing more by tomorrow. the saga continues......
