how do you find the high reving ITR? Different prospect to the lazy torque of the vauxhall 2.2, even more so with the 2.0 turbo - both run out of puff at 6000rpm though. If you like to thrash the nuts off it, have you looked at the elise 111r as its got the toyota vvti unit.
welcome

Never understood the appeal of high power fwd cars, there's nothing you can do with the power even with good suspension and LSDs. Ultimately you're just going to understeer off into the ditch even morebut if u turbo'd ur teg then id swap u!

but if the mags are to be believed, the ITR and Focus RS are the exceptions to the rule, it sounds like both are decent track cars. On the road, the difference is much slimmer

On the road, the difference is much slimmer, it is often not adviseable to be holding power-oversteer slides exiting every corner...

Driven both standard and modified ITRs & CTRs on road and track. Personally found them extremely disappointing, too raw for the road and too soft for the track. Didn't seem to do anything that well apart from sound good
