Then yours is unique!! Congrats!! Vauxhall must clearly have put an extra tooth on some of your gears!!i think mine can get to 70 in 2nd....

A lot of us people here bought the G-tech Pro thingy and tested it on our cars. We all got 6,8-6,9 s to 60. Some motor magazines have also recorded 6,9 s. But I think MotorTrend had a 6,2 s figure measured, but god knows how they dropped the clutch??

The 180GT car recorded 6,1 s with some 180 hp at the flywheel.
My goal is to be in the 13:s on the quartermile this year.

one thing I have also wondered about is if I tuned my n/a vx to 200 bhp
which is approx the same power as a turbo. Would my 0 - 60 time be similar??
You would be hampered by the short 2nd gear / rev limiter still...
Turbo has 50lbft extra torque avail at ~2000 where as NA peak is at 4000 - so if you had similar torque at max power, you'd have to launch at higher rpm. I think

Cheers, Paul.

I wonder, how I will end up with my VX220 SC and 250 BHP. It is still much lighter than a Turbo. I will try with a GTECH next week.
Heh heh - can't wait for that!

Although with out a rev limit increase you'll probably suffer from the short 2nd gear...

wow, that is ballistic, 0-100 in 10.89 secsBest 0-60 I have done with VXT with 245 Bhp

any tips on your starts??
Have you tried a 2nd gear start? - i have an excel program which works out acceleration from gears power etc its pretty accurate - removing the 1st gear ratio knocks .3 sec off 1/4 mile - that would get you into 12's
