Yep – it's the only way to get max control.I assume everyone else is MT right?
Will be a bit awkward at first, but the learning curve is pretty steep, so you will very soon do better than with auto.

The standard dual shock controls and the wheels all simply plug innto the same sockets, so don't see why it shoudn't work with two wheels...Appologies for not following the rules of this thread but...
I asked this in a different thread, but I feel this is likely to reach a more 'target' audience:
Is it possible to set up 2 Driving Force Pro wheels with one PS2, hence allowing 2-player racing, both with the full works? I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but didn't want to waste a load of cash.
Cheers.
Even better would be two GT4 and two PS2s with two screens networked so each was full screen.
Talking of networks, I'm hoping that maybe there will be a broadband compatible GT game before long for some real fun!
Anyway, you should still post your best times to "buy" your space in this thread!

With PS3 on the horizon (and so good you can't tell the difference to watching a film, according to the reports) I don't think its worth giving Bill any money. Sounds good though, but can't believe they've mapped the 'Ring as accurately as they did for GT4.Buy an xbox, get xbox live and broadband, buy PGR2 and bob's yer uncle.
Anyway, back to the still current times: I got bored trying to beat dwnc's VXT time (how I hate that tail-heavy bloater), so I had a go in a 111R – now that's more like it! First time out I did an 8.11 including a massive spin into the barrier at the end of the main straight that cost me ages, so should easily beat VXT times. When I complete a decent lap I'll post it up in case anyone wants to try against it

I need a new challenge

I was getting ready to post something similar to prompt interest (and that's why I posted about it before)

Not tried the 111R seriously yet, but there is much potential there. Look forward to seeing what you can do – would not surprise me much to see you post a below 8.00 on a sweet lap. Presently I'm more in an N/A mood, getting ready for Hockenheim, but may be tempted if you post something sickeningly fast

OK – let's do 2 categories:ill post something more concrete in a couple of days.
Arcade mode 111R (with default SM tyres)
Tuned 111R (whatever you want for mods)
Look forward to seeing your times – I'll get on it after Hockenheim

10 mins 12 seconds.
Is this ok as a first attempt? Anyone who played GT4 as their first incarnation, is this rubbish or acceptable?
Speedy, Dude... I think you may be waiting a while for me to challenge.
