I've chucked the "Spinning Speedster" in-car video out of my gallery to show this bit of fun.

Did the same to the black Turbo S when I started on the right the next time. Love it!

It's 1.9MB and you need QuickTime to view it. Download it for free here:
QuickTime

Tip: for an in-car effect, turn up the volume and in the "Window" tab on the menu bar click on "zoom Window". Enjoy! :D

Nor me... on an iMac OS 10.2.6 with QT 6.2 I get: Couldn't open the file "sprint1_shortlowQ.mpeg" because a software component needed by the movie could not be found. Oh hold on - QT 6.3 is available - I'll update and see what happens. James

You think that's bad! It won't open on my G4 iMac or my 12"PowerBook both on Mac OS10.2.6 and QuickTime Player 6.3 and I'm the poor sod who posted it! Just gives a blank! I exported it from iMovie to QuickTime using expert setting as you suggested R12_NUR. That makes an .mp4 file and when I tried to upload it I got this message from the forum: "Error uploading photo: File...mp4 is not a supported file type. Please see the upload rules for more information" So, though the site says it accepts .mpg and .MPEG files, it doesn't recognise MPEG-4. I changed the file ending to .mpeg and it happily uploaded it for me. Stupid thing is, with the old iMovie you could do the old MPEG-2 or whatever it was and that worked. Why are these bl**dy "Windoze" machines not recognising MPEG-4 FFS!   Anyone know how I can get it to work or get it to MPEG-2?

Nope, just upgraded to QT 6.3 and still no joy... the problem must be something else.

Going to bed now... :sleepy: so hopefully some smartypants will have it working by the morning

Couldn't even get access to the delete part of my gallery with Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (v74), so used IE5.2 which at least got the right page. Is Thorney's hardware or software so Mac-unfriendly?? :( :( :(

I have now reloaded the old clip of my in-car video of the Speedster in front of me spinning off at the end of the main straight at Hockenheim. For all the newbies, it's worth a look and not too big at 1.9MB. For all the geeks, this one works as I exported it from iMovie to the old QuickTime MPEG that this forum apparently supports. Problem is, all my programmes are now updated so that iMovie exports to QuickTime.mov format as a default, with the option to export to MPEG4, neither of which this forum wants to accept properly. Really frustrating, but Thorney has promised a change soon. :)
