Hi Pete, Have received my Viper jobby, thanks. It looks straightforward enough to fit. I can see how the Power Cone goes, but where do you feed the tube that comes from the nose of the Cone? Does it feed down to the side grill or somewhere else? Steve

Steve, Exactly - it needs routing behind the side air intake. If you've got plenty of time, it's not a bad idea to remove the wheel and arch liner, although it can be done without this. Pete

Final Questions... You get a spray can with it. The instructions aren't too clear as to what to do with it, and how liberal to be. Quote "Oil with spray provided before use". Can you explain what exatly to spray and how much to use? Do you need to replace the element occasionally. If so, what with? Thanks ;) Steve

Steve

You need to use a fairly light coat of the spray. It's purely to improve the dirt retention. Literally just give it a light spray all over the filter - too much and it'll take weeks to dry off!

You don't need to ever replace the element, it can simply be cleaned. To do this, just use warm soapy water, and dry it off. Then re-oil. This doesn't need doing that frequently, every 12 months or so is usually fine.
