Organised by BookaTrack. I've no real frame of refernce but everything ran smoothly, the overtaking rules are sensible and clear. Basically thumbs up. The track for those who haven't been round before is excellent. The VX lacks a little power on the staights but more that makes up for it in the fast corners. The craner curves are simply amazing flat out in 4th. The car. Oh boy what a car. Mines totally standard but the grip levels were excellent. Turn in was precise, handling was great with a really nutral balance no massive understeer or oversteer but either could be induced by changing driving styles. I admit to trail braking a little which in my old race prepared Uno took nearly a season to master. By the Old harpin on my first lap I found myself staying on the brakes longer to get a little slide going :P . This car instils such confidence it unbelievable. I can't praise this car enough. even Caterhams & elises with Yoko semi slick rubber were quite easy to catch. Was a little emarissing though when they move over to let you through thinking you'll blow past and it's like No, this really is all the power I have. Think a couple though I was taking the P*** by making them slow down on the straights but after a couple of corners the're soon out of sight. Car got it's usual attention off the track, quite a few women came over to have a look which was nice  Only had one really big moment when some poor sod lost the contents of his sump at the old harpin. I was about 3rd on the scene and got very very sideways, suprisingly after a bit of arm waving (By me and my passenger), a few blasts on the car horn it came back into line. NICE!!! ;) So what did I learn: Gotta find some track rubber that will fit the VX. Potenza'a are OK but the front's tend to melt. Disconnect the car horn. Look a bit of a twat honking at people round the circuit "No mate, simply trying to keep the car on the black bits" Get some RS14's brake pads & possibly look at changing the brake fluid and or the discs (Pedal was getting long toward the end of the evening). Should have done this the day after I bought the VX :beat: Gotta go do some work now (Well browse BookaTrack and plan my next excursion).
