I have wanted black window surround for a wile, but have thought it was too expensive...

Then I found THIS topic on German Speedsterforum. thumbsup

http://www.edel-car-parts.de/ sells a plastic film kit (3 pice kit) for 19€ and fitting is realy easy thumbsup

I orderd two kits just in case i mess up the first one. I got it in less than a week after my order.

Here´s the result on my car:

skogshuggarn - From your photo I can just about see the join between the sections. Would you say it's OK "in the flesh"?

There is a smal overlap, but I think it´s OK The size of overlap you can deside when put it on (a stock Honda S2000 has also a overlap). The three parts is very big so you have to cut them when fixed. I used a haidryer to get all the water (vatten + diskmedel) off and the glue to fix. For 19€ (+8€ shipping) this is the best and cheapest mod I have done to my Speedster thumbsup It took me less than 1 h to get it on the car. You will get a werry good instruktion with the kit, but it is in German :(

OK here's the deal. For those of us in the UK this might be a problem since he only accepts direct bank transfer. The site is not set up for Paypal or credit cards and to transfer money abroad requires a SWIFT transfer which costs £20 (from my bank anyway) That brings it up to £40 with VAT & International delivery which means it's cheaper to bust your screen and claim on the insurance  Anyway I'm far too honest for that malarky so I've asked him to do us a group buy deal. I'll keep you posted. thumbsup

Well even if it doesn't I'll see if can get the money to him some other way and then have one shipment to the UK and I'll ship from here centrally. Once I know more I'll start a list off thumbsup

OK we have a group buy on our hands ;) B) He will waive the postage from Germany which is €8 a pop for starters. As for the payment unless I can figure something else out that will be £20 split however many ways (so far 9). What I propose is payment to me via BACS, cheque or Paypal (once I've figured the final price - I believe it's €27 each but I'll need to ask the bank what the exchange will be) Once I get final numbers of interest I'll set a dealine for payment and then I'll send one order to the friendly German at MS-Edel. So far... iandhd earlystock too-fast plotloss SteveH nakajima Browncanoe nonterraquous PeteB
