Just wondering if the original racetrack exhaust from vauxhall/opel is something to consider for roaduse.
Soundwise? Perfomancewise? Someone please?

IMO great sound, no extra power, excessive price....
you might want to consider the other aftermarket options, Regal, Komo-tec (german), or the coming miltek....

I love my exhaust
Only thing about it I don't like is that you lose the chrome effect, but the noise it makes more than makes up for it.
It will burble and pop which is something I don't think i've heard on the regal exhausts?
Not sure but someone with a regal zorst will be able to correct me.

My Regal exhaust burbles but no pops
From hearing other cars I think the missing factor is the manifold or sports cat. (I'm saving up )

How much does the original cost? I have looked at the Komo-Tec stainless exhaust priced at 850 EUR and it seems like an ridiculus price. I think that it can be made for 85 EUR in my garage with a simple aftermarket silencer and some bends. Not stainless though, but that can also be arranged through firms which make tailor-made solutions. I would rather put my money on a sports cat and a Regal manifold!
I wonder though what the metal links are in Komo-Tecs picture? Anyone? Is the silencer suspended in these?
