I've booked myself onto this, but have never driven at Brands before. What is the general opinion on the Indy circuit? Cost is £80, which isn't too bad, and it's convenient for me to get to from work. There are only a few spaces left, it would be great to see a couple of other VXs down there thumbsup Can't wait!!

I think Thorneys advice would be 'watch your breaking point at Druids'...especcially when theres lots of Loti around to take the p*ss :P

A good day had by all ;) Good to see a few friendly faces in the paddock thumbsup Sorry I didn't make it to the pub in the end, my old man reminded me that we should drop in and see my God Father who lives just around the corner from Brands on the way back. Only a few slightly sideways moments from me but I'll let others tell of how their day went :D

erm.....well I tried to bear it in mind.

I also missed the braking point into Druids and wound up in the gravel. Fortunately managed to reverse the car out. Luckily it was only 2 mins before the end of the session so the subsequent red flag  didn't annoy people too much.

I put it down to actually making a decent job of Paddock Hill beforehand, and being so surprised at myself that I let my concentration lapse......

Great to catch up with Paul S and ECM thumbsup , the barbecue at the pub (and blat down there) were almost as good fun as the track time.

As for Brands Indy - a superb track IMHO with technical bends such as Paddock Hill and Clearways that really make you think. Good to do of an evening as well since it's short and so relatively easy to learn (as stated above).

In short an enjoyable time had by all.
