I've decided to have the stage 1 remap done and the precat removed on my NA. They seem to get a good press on here so I'd like to get Courtenay to do it, but they're a long way from me (Abingdon). AMD are more expensive, but a lot nearer. I get the impression from a thread a week or so ago that something may be changing there though, and Thorny hinted at some coming news. Before I book in is there anything new about this?

Well VX still haven't been added to the new AMD website, so doesn't look like an oversight as 1st suggested. ..go see the boys at Courtenay IMO, very pleased with the stage 2 treatment my VX had last week. A

They are still doing the remap as I spoke to them today. Courtenay would probably be about a 4 hour round trip for me so I think I'll just be patient as advised ;)

Thirded. The wait is definately worth it. I could not believe what a difference it has made.

How come some (quite a few by the look of it) know about it already? The reference to "difference" implies something has been done to the cars of a few members. Perhaps Thorney is doing his own tuning.

Paulf-cam, Everyone has their opinions, I'm just curious as to why you say its not worth it. Is it the cost factor ?
