whilst i was at regal this morning watching a smart car rolling road day chris asked me if i wanted the short shift fitted! what could i say but yes! so about 2 hours later i was able to test this little bit of kit.....i could not believe how short the gear stick travel is now on my car, regal had said that it will be between 50-60% and it is certainly that.....all the gears positions are so close now.. but as it has only just been fitted it is a still a little stiff...cant wait for a bit of wear! once i have driven it for few miles i shall comment on it further but for now it does feel good and quick! :groupjump:

Excellent Steve. Sounds great. Look forward to ongoing reports on how it settles in...

minime I drove the Honda S2000 today nice car not certain about revving an engine to 9000 rpm though but what did impress me was the gear change. SMOOTH and Short This Regal mode, checked the web site and could only find Regal F23 Quick Shift System was this it and how is it running in. Defiantly want a shorter shift Thanks a lot Nick

Thanks for that Would you trust local chaps to fit it or would you let regal do it, I say that because regal is a long way from Bedford I woul;dn't have thought it was to complicated, Might even try it myself  Nick

i think most competent mechanics could do it...fully instructions are provided but as i witnessed it may need a little fine tuning in terms of taking a little metal off the width of one of the plates...the boys at regal did this and then repanted the part! :jump:
