Great pdf!
I'm planning on repainting my entire VX,
Does anyone happen to have any articles on how to remove the bodywork from the doors or some other removal guide?
I already have front clam shell removal (as seen above)
and a back clam shell removal: http://www.vx220.org...&t=5496&hl=rear

The doors are easy.
You need to remove the complete door and beam from the hinge first - 2 allen bolts accessed from the top and bottom of the hinge (the top bolt has a rubber boot to keep moisture out). The door and fittings are a lot heavier than you imagine, so be careful when removing it... it is possible as a one man job though, as are the front arnd rear clams if you are really careful
Once you've done this, the door panel simply unbolts from the beam - 3 bolts at the front of the beam (you can see these on the car when the door is open) and 2 bolts at the rear, near the handle and lock mechanism (you'll need to remove the door panels to get access to these, and it might be a tight squeeze getting access with the window glass in place) PS One of the bolts at the rear has been filed down to a few mm thick to clear the glass, so be careful not to round it when removing it!!
