This was reg'd in May 03. This car hasn't even seen the rain, so I never had the kit fitted.

Plans next are ? Thing is I love the car, but having it sit there with no use is pretty pointless. For a while I'll keep that garage space free.

Congratulations Ben!

See you on the circuit soon thumbsup

Cheers mate.

Chuck let me take it out for an hour or so last week. The thing is better than new. I am really quite excited! I was waiting for another VXR at a reasonable price but this was just too good to turn down. You would have done well to swap matey. (Sorry!)

Yes - see you on a track soon B)

Oh and it matches my R1!

With mine past two years old and 50K it is time to think of a replacement. As you (who I suspect has a wider experience than myself) keep returning to the fold, I think I know there are no potential alternatives. Anyway, more interestingly, what happened to the racing plans? The Milltek BMW's are now searching for the sixth VX driver to join the grid - how about it?

Combination of things.

I was due to be racing my friends Motorsport Elise - with Audi TT engine - however that fell through (?) for various reasons. Insufficient funds to go it alone.

I do like the Idea of the SELOC BMW Milltek series. I would have to buy a pre-prepared car. Tell you what, if I get a promotion this winter I will join you guys next season.

Your 'friend with the Motorsport Elise' wouldn't be Tony D from Northampton, who is joining the series at Pembrey, and professes to have a Murkylager and 360?

ahem. I really really hope the owner of the blue VXR stands firm and achieves the 30K asking price that his unique, one off, very special VXR is worth.
