Hmmmm, like the thought of all that sexy C.F. but on a Ricky tip....what's the weight difference gonna be?
The original boot lid was made very light by a special forming process...

very light?!?!?The original boot lid was made very light by a special forming process...
I was just wondering today how friggin' heavy that thing is!!!!
immediately into a dreaming state, I started to wonder about balsa-wood replacement, or a sigle-sheet fiberglass.....
sure carbon is nice, but only 15% would be pretty meager gain....
btw, today shedded 3,1 kg worth of stuff.... passenger footrest, mat, and driver door-sill...

ricky
if you are going to this level to shed weight isn't it about time you took off the hinges and catches of the bonnet and bootlid and replaced them with pins?(seriously)
cheers
