I'm sure August's EVO mag said it was the 2.2l vxl engine. :unsure:

Indeed it does. I'd think it a bit under-powered though for what must be a heavier car?

Also: "An all-new [Elise] isn't on the cards until some time after the Esprit is launched [in late 2007]" which is annoying.

received evo the other day, had a quick flick through it. Noticed the review of this in there. After glancing at the pictures it surprised me to see that the rear end styling looked very similar to a vx from some angles
