Does anyone know of a cycle carrier that will allow me to carry my bike on the back of my VX220 (2.2L). I don't have the luggage rack but do have the hard top if someone knew of a roof rack that could fit on that without putting any holes in the bodywork or roof. The only entry I can find from 2003 did not really give an answer. Yours hopefully, Triathlete

Don't think there is one, but I would love to have one!! Think the fibreglass would be too flimsy!

Would look completely bonkers if you had the someone pedaling up there whilst driving

Also, check out --Classic Carriers-- they might put something together for you.

As an alternative to getting the bike rack get an Airnimal folding bike - http://www.airnimalfoldingbikes.com/
- the higher spec models have been used successfully in triathlons (bronze in world champs), i have one -
http://www.airnimalf...rmanceSport.php
mine has the Shimano 105 group set and straight handle bars and the panaracer kevlar tyres.
I have taken it in a bag in the front seat of my VX on several trips to France. They even can be folded into a standard suitcase.

What distance Triathlons do you do? Did you compete in the London Triathlon? What kind of times do you get? I competed in Triathlons 17and18 years ago and I am just getting back in to it. (36 years old.) I will be doing the London Tri next year with a mate.
