My battery light has gradually been coming on more frequent. It used to come on when i started it then go when the car is running, but its on most of the time now. Do i need a new battery or is the altinator? Thanx

Generally a dying battery won't turn over the engine very effectively if at all. My battery died recently and it was literally OK one day and completely dead the next. If it's your alternator then it won't charge the battery well enough and it will eventually lose charge. Apart from that I aint got a clue

Most likely intermittent charging from the alternator, but check connections as mentioned. Batteries just die, if yours has failed, the car will not start. Need a decent garage with test equipment.

Thought it had fixed the alarm until, hey presto, the bllody thing goes off twice within three mins. Opens the door and there stands the newly be-friended nextdoor neighbour sayin ' its the door-bell thats sets the alarm off'! My reply, 'disconnect ya f**kin bell ya foolish bint rant '!!
