Just been under the hood to clear my girlfriends tights of bugs and debris and I noticed that the palstic bottle that holds the screen wash fluid is loose. My car did have a passenger side, front engine collision with a speeding bollard so it might have been knocked free then and the repair people seem to have just lodged the bottle behind a cable. It's held in place but hardly sturdy. Can anyone advise how the bottle should be attached? A picture would be awesomely brilliant but the weather is crap so I don't blame anyone for not wanting to venture outside with their posh cameras. :)

The bottle isn't attached to anything. It just sits in place, held in by gravity. The cable going round the front of it is normal. I believe it's the cable to change the Blower temperature.

They all should have it, as the holder for the reservoir also extends downwards and forms the clamp that keeps the battery in place. If it's missing then the battery can slide around and in the worst case cause a very bad short on the chassis beams. (happens on some S1 Elises too when a battery is changed for a new one that doesn't fit quite right) Bye, Arno.
