Can't say too much as the deal will involve the GT team but looks like I've sorted a couple of custom made sizes for wheels for the VX. Brand will depend on the deal they offer the team and evenutal retail cost but will be of a multi-spoke motorsport design (centrelock for GT team, standard 5 bolt for road cars), both options look very very tasty indeed ;) On the tyre front Yko Advans don't come in 17" for 195mm or even 205mm, but Pirelli have just released a tyre specially for Elises/VX's in 17" 195mm called the PZero Nero Corsa and is a multi purpose road/track tyre. The plan would be to offer wheel/tyre packages which will bolt straight on either on standard or upgraded (Nitron/Spax) suspension. Both wheels will save a minimum 3kgs per corner and if I said they transform the look of the car I'd being understating it completely B) :) Bad news as these are custom wheels just for the VX it'll take 6 weeks before we get our sticky mits on them, but trust me they are worth the wait B)

Potential house purchase and impatience has pretty much ruled out the Sprint for now. (Never say never) so a few mods are on the cards. Well up for this! Just let us know the price as soon as you know it. Any brand info? Brakes gotta be next?

We gather you liked them then!

Sounds very interesting – especially as we've not heard any more from Stu about a 5-stud version of the the new magnesium Sprint wheels that he tentatively raised as a possibility... :poke:

So, if you've seen them … even on the car, and they're soooooo coooool, then why no piccies you sadist, Thorney? :P

Will they be black/anthracite? Would be nice and not show brake dust. :D

Thank you for getting all these bits sorted for us now, Thorney. :) BTW, whats with the carbon bits now.. still no news?

I have some experience of the P Zero Nero as it's the one Prodrive use on the 18" upgrade to Impreza STi Type UK's - and it's a good tyre, I would hazard a guess that the Corsa version has the tread depth moulded down to 4mm or so for track use - is this correct Thorney?
