How Do You Adjust The Wing Mirrors?

Any advice on adjusting the wing mirrors please...

I find that this techique works best: Push them further than they need to go, then pull them back to the required position They pull back easier then they push out if you see what I mean. It's not a fantastic design, but you don't have to do it often :)

:unsure: Can't say i'v ever notised it being difficult. Just wind down the window (probably the hardest part) stick my arm out and redirect the mirror as needed. Alittle bit more strength need than other cars but not difficult. Sorry mate, doesn't help your plight any, wish you all the luck with sorting out a good method thumbsup

or if you don't have one to hand...

Gently push the mirror in the required direction, release, check alignment and repeat until satisfied.

As the mirror is flexible it may take a while and you will have to push the mirror beyond the required position before releasing it. Just don't push it too far !!!

I hold the mirror with a cloth in both hands and insistently push it into position. Stops the 'snap back' action. Problem is its hard to do from inside the car. D'oh !

Twist it up and down whilst pushing outwards. If you just push outwards without twisting it just springs back (IME).
