I've got a VSE + ITG Maxogen + Stage 1 map at the moment. I would love to go to a stage 2 map to really take advantage of the ITG, but I've been told the VSE is too restrictive for a stage 2. So... whats the cheapest (best value) exhaust for stage 2? A Miltek is a very expensive option at £1000+fitting, yes it may be THE best, but is it the best value?

Sounds like good value - did you get the car updated to a stage 2 map after that? Do you have a URL for the people you used? Have you had the chance to compare your exhaust's sound to a Milltek by any chance? Lots of questions! Cheers, Andy

 Really?..obviously they know better than i but my take on it is, it'd be fine with pre-cat removed and 100 or 200 cell sports cat fitted

..but then what do i know

Blueflame are excellent quality, I have one fitted to my 328i, the only thing I would say is that its a bit boomy at 1500rpm, other than that they are top exhausts thumbsup But I went for the Milltek for my tubby :P

Ye I've had AmD stage 2 on it made around 250bhp on their dyno.
Not had a chance to compare it sound wise to a Milltek.
I'm keeping an eye on the meets forum, looking forward to meeting some other owners.
I would have had a Milltek from Thorney but I'm not feeling to rich atm.
The link for blueflame is here
Ask for Nigel v.nice and helpful.
