Following on from this thread,

I had a friend make me a new starter button coin piece on a lathe, I remember some people saying they had lost theirs. He said if there were 5 or so wanted he could make some more.

Let me know if anyone wants one, Plain or with rings. i was thinking of having a vaux logo or similar etched on one, but would probably be a lot of effort!

I gave him £5 for mine. might be less if he has to make a few. Sure i can find some stamps at work to send them out. I'm not making anything on it! just thought i'd mention it because knew some people were missing them too. Rich

are they easy to fit???

It just sits perfectly in the hole left from the missing one, mine was missing when i bought the car. a small dab of glue will do the trick, or have read a silicone based adhesive would work well and provide a little movement so it wont break off like the original if not pressed exactly in the centre.

Just be carefull not to use too much glue!!
