4LU is named an "Effect" paint which distinguishes it from 4HU (another Brilliant Yellow) and possibly suggests from the other colours that it is a pearlescent paint?

That's what I thought initially until I started playing around on the DuPont website. If 4GU is correct for a Titan Gold car then DuPont do indeed call that paint "CAPRI YELLOW EFFECT", but if I do a search for "Titan Gold" then I find a paint called "GIALLO CAPRI/TITAN GOLD EFFECT" which is a different DuPont paint code.Capri Yellow is what they call Titan Gold in Germany btw
