I have the VX Service and Repair Manuals that I bought off Ebay for too much money. I would like to give them F.O.C to anyone on here but I can't really. What I will do is make 3 copies and send them to 3 people that will then do the same until we all have a copy. There are 2 CD's and it takes about 30mins to install. It's pretty usefull stuff. Who is going to take on the first 3 copies responsibility? cheers

cheers JimH, I'll send off my 3x2 copies to whoever and just let this thread keep going and as someone requests a copy the next person sends them and so on. PJG, if you email your address to me I'll send you a copy of the manual and you can make up to three copies and send them on to whoever requests a copy. Does this make sense or should I quit after giving PJG a copy and let him carry it on making it just one copy we each need to do. Yeah we'll try it at one copy until someone sticks i.e. they don't have a writer. okay?

If someone could get it and then save each chapter separately I can put it up in the download section with a contents link?

Great Idea but I think you would still have to download the full 1.2gig to get it to work. Bit of a pain. Wonder if you could install it on the server and access it remotely?

Coolio, isn't it possible to get just the VX220 section? (I've never used/seen the CD so I'm probably talking out of my ar*e... again.)

Also, where the hell do these CDs come from - are any originals or all they all, ahem, backups? Maybe it's the only way for the garage monkeys to actually make some money for themselves instead of the dealer principals... ;)

I'm in the middle of pulling all of the VX information out of the crappy bloody TIS system and dumping it into Acrobat PDF files so even the Mac brigade should be able to read it!!! As soon as it's done I'll pass it on to Thorney or whoever for distribution!!!
